Gotta love the weekend.

Today I didn't do much. A nice and easy saturday, just how I like 'em.. (well, except those saturdays where I prefer to get really hammered or baked of course!).

I got up really late, about 12 pm, and then started the day by taking a shower and then trying out a new Jamie Oliver recipe: "The amazing date shake!" It was sooo yummers, I just love dates! Although I think I'll  sieve out (?) the blended date pieces next time.

Anyways.. if you wanna try it out, and you really should, here's the way:

Take 8-10 dates, a small handfull of ice cubes, a cup of milk and just a touch of cinnamon, and blend it all together! Y-u-m!

Then I went out for a walk with the golden retriever Stella, who's such a fun dog! And it was also pay day, which is always nice.. It's such an easy and fun way to make some extra cash.

When I got home I discovered my Tom Jones ticket had arrived! Yes baby! I just can't wait to go and see him in concert june 28th. It's gonna be SO sweet! I love that man so much.. Seriously. Sir Tom Jones, I salute you!

 Oh and by the way! That's my harbor view from my apartment behind the ticket. Ain't it sweet?

And tonight I ate carpaccio. I just freaking love it! That is so one of my favorite kinda foods.

The weird looking things in the red bowl, is home made cheese scones I made yesterday, and then sliced n' fried on the pan today for the occasion. Pretty tasty.

And yes, I'm having dinner in bed.. 'cuz I'm lazy like that!

Oh well-a-rino.. I think I'm off now. Tomorrow I have an "interview" with an old married couple, who have a lhasa apso, they need a dog walker for.

Well, will ya look at that?! I'm blogging! I've been thinking about doing this for ages, but I'm an idiot at all that HTML crap..

Anyways.. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Miss Maja (pronounced Maya) Mathiesen, at the age of nearly 22, from the tiny land of the Danes. Denmark. Nyborg to be exact. That's kinda like Denmark's Newcastle. Or perhaps.. Odense's (Denmark's 3rd biggest city) New Jersey. I've only lived here for about two months. I used to live in Odense, but got sooo tired of it - including its citizens. So I decided to try something new.. And my new town has a little bit of everything I love: the sea, woods, castles and harbors! Oh joy.

I'm still job hunting, but I've started a little dog walking business, which I just totally love. Besides that, I enjoy awesome books (such as Goosebumps! Collecting freak over here!), awesome movies, awesome music, cooking, nature, animals, my friends and so on..

I'm not sure where this blog is gonna take me or any of you.. Guess we'll just goin' to have to wait and see, won't we?

Oh. And by the way. If my english is crappy sometimes.. bear with me, okay? Anybody can be cool, but awesome takes practice.
